2 ... 2 ...Thought that most Christmas lunches would be of turkey, ham and beef. Hence, wanted to try out something different. Went with Dino and Eds to a mussel place in Vivocity. Rather crowded.
Was quite hungry, so i started with soup. Tried the chef's recommendation - Chowderful Mussel Soup. Nothing much to rave about, its just soup with a mussel sticking out.
3 of us shared 3 different types of mussels.
Steamed Mussels. Tasty with white wine sauce. And i think all of us are addicted to the alcohol in it! ;)
Sambal ones. This has lots of garlic.
Baked Cheese ones. This actually goes well with the sambal sauce from above.
It was quite a musselful lunch. I quite like the steam ones best.
